On Monday, 26 July 2021 the KZNFC’s Manager: Research and Development, Dr Ngqabutho Bhebhe will deliver his presentation under the topic “KZN Film Sector Baseline study-2020”  a study that was undertaken by the Film Commission to assess the main changes that have occurred in the sector since the last baseline study conducted in 2015.

Speaking about his presentation, Dr Bhebhe said “The film sector, like many sectors in the economy, changes rapidly and is impacted by various factors such as technology, income, socio-cultural influences, legislation. To respond to these changes, the KZNFC conducted the KZN Film Baseline study to identify and highlight the main economic changes that have occurred in the sector since the last baseline study.
