Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) 2015

The KwaZulu- Natal Film Commission is calling for applications from KZN based film producers who wish to be part of the delegation attending the Africa International Film Festival 2015.
AFRIFF is a world class showcase with participation from local and international filmmakers, actors, directors, film critics, buyers, distributors, equipment manufacturers and international press. Maintaining its inaugural theme “Africa Unites”, the vision is to raise awareness in Africa about the vast potential the film industry holds and the impact it has on the economy. AFRIFF also aims to re-establish Africa’s significance as the last frontier for unique film stories and content development.
The week-long event is set to become Africa’s annual destination for fantastic film experience comprising of a top class film programmes; talent development and technical training series aimed at raising African film industry standards; business sessions and networking opportunities, as well as a unique Film and Equipment market that will encourage and grow content trade out of Africa and global partnerships.
AFRIFF is attended by over 2000 delegates.
The call for applications will be open from 1 September – 18 September 2015.
Applications must cover the following:
- Fully completed markets and festivals application form
- A motivation to attend the festival
- How your attendance will assist your business
KZNFC will announce the selected business delegation on 12 October 2015.
*applicants must have a valid passport and be available to travel from 7 November – 16 November 2015.*
